Committee Descriptions & Duties
Please indicate your top preferences for your volunteer committee assignment. If selected as a volunteer, we will do our best to assign you to one of your four choices; however, some committees fill up quickly so you may be assigned to a committee that needs additional volunteers. Each volunteer will be required to work a minimum of four (4) shifts or 2 full days during this event.
Ticket/Will Call: Administrative duties to include assisting with calls, taking ticket orders and processing, selling books
Culinary Assistant: Working with participating Chefs and their teams for prep/production and plate-up duties - Culinary Experience REQUIRED
Media Center: Assisting as a concierge and manning phones and other administrative duties
Opening Night Reception: Thursday - Distribute wine to each wine tasting station/set-up each wine station/greeters/polishing glassware/handing out souvenir wine glasses/coat check/ handing out maps and directing guests/ hand out gifts if being given out at end of evening assisting with set up of each chef station/replenishing glassware and china throughout the evening /teardown
Golf Tournament: Thursday - Check-in of players; work stations for on course refreshment
Luncheons: Fri & Sat - held at The Lodge & The Inn - greeters/assist with menu cards & seating/amenity distribution
Parking & Security-Inn: Direct people to Will Call for ticket pick up - send cars to correct parking areas - valet park as requested
Parking & Security-Tent: Direct people to parking lot - Collins Field on Saturday & Sunday - watch all entrances/exits in Grand Tasting Tent
Cooking Demos: Two sessions on Fri & Sat - set-up of room with handouts/amenities/greeters/security /teardown
Wine Tastings: Two sessions on Fri & Sat - set-up of room with glassware & china/handouts/amenities/greeters/security /tear down
Grand Tasting Tent: Saturday/Sunday - Distribute wine to each wine tasting station/set-up each wine station/greeters/polishing glassware/handing out souvenir wine glasses/coat check/ handing out maps and directing guests/ hand out gifts if being given out at end of evening assisting with set up of each chef station/replenishing glassware and china throughout the evening /teardown
Operations Set-Up: Assisting with table & chair set-up, inventory deliveries, distributing product to different areas, hanging of signs in tents, placing signage out for parking/directional through the event
Amenities & Gift Bags: This committee is done Wed night April 3rd - gifts for chefs and other bags as needed

Volunteer Agreement I indicate my acknowledgement of being a volunteer for CLM and Pebble Beach Co. It also confirms my understanding that my volunteer position is not guaranteed, nor if granted, guaranteed for any length of time and that CLM and Pebble Beach Co. may deny or end my volunteer opportunity at any time, for any reason, with or without prior notice. By submitting the Volunteer Registration Form, I agree to bear full responsibility and full liability for any and all damage or injury, which might result from volunteering at the Pebble Beach Food and Wine event. I also releases and agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the staff and directors of the Pebble Beach Food and Wine, Pebble Beach Co., event sponsors and their insurance carriers from any and all claims, actions or damages without any limitation whatsoever, whether consisting of personal injury, property damage that results in any way from any act of the volunteer while attending or volunteering at the Pebble Beach Food and Wine.
